The foundational Jury

Victor Emanuel von Monteton

In 2011, management consultant and conductor Victor Dijon de Monteton established the annual concert series Swiss Charity Concert in Zurich. This year he will take also part in the foundational jury that choses the finalists. Born in 1984, Dijon de Monteton was a wunderkind, giving his first piano concert at the age of nine and quickly moving onto international stages. After performing all over the world and in CD productions with EMI and BMG, Dijon de Monteton had his debut as a conductor at the age of 16. The young artist was awarded numerous music prizes, most significantly in 2004 when he received the highly acclaimed European Cultural Award. Soon after, Dijon de Monteton changed his path to follow his calling into the business world. After earning his MBA at ETH Zurich, he joined global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, where he is based currently in the firm's Zurich office.

Koh Gabriel Kameda

Koh Gabriel Kameda is one of the most accomplished violinists of his generation. Having been a performing artist of the Swiss Charity concert since 2011 he will be a member of the foundational jury this year as well. Earning multiple international music awards, the German-Japanese musician gave his solo debut at the age of 13. Kameda has studied at the University of Music in Karlsruhe with Professor Josef Rissin and with Pinchas Zukerman at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Zukerman introduced Kameda in 1994 as a surprise guest in Tel Aviv, where he played with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Kameda’s career continued and led him into teaching music and violin from 2004 to 2009 at the Zurich Performing Arts School in Switzerland. In 2010, he was appointed as a professor with the Music Academy in Detmold, Germany.
